Process Technician Injection Molding
Status: Hourly Full-time, Non-Exempt
Department: Molding
Position Summary:
The Process Set-up Tech is required to complete mold changes safely, with great quality, and high efficiency. Molding is one of the core competencies of Thierica Display Products, and this position requires an excellent work history and knowledge of Injection Molding and Die Setting.
Responsibilities:
- Performs mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule.
- Performs resin color or material changes.
- Monitoring the execution of the production schedule
- Performs process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality.
- Verifies paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at startup of jobs and in process inspections.
- Monitors and prepares support equipment i.e., Thermolators, grinders, robots, end of arm, degating equipment etc.
- Learn and become an expert with Shop Edge to track material flow and set-up times.
- Assists Team Leaders and operators in the production area as needed.
- Communicates and documents process verifications for all machines.
- Assist in preventative maintenance tasks.
- Other Duties as needed.
Physical Demands:
- May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
- May be required stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be flexible for schedule and assignment.
- Good quality inspection abilities
- Must have basic computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office
- Must have basic mathematical skills
